Panhellenic Primary Recruitment Orientation (on campus)
- Monday, January 6, 2025, times (Assigned slot between 10am and 2pm)
- There is no official makeup session for orientation, nor a conflict form. If an individual can not attend, she must notify her Recruitment Counselor (assigned in early January). The Recruitment Counselor will fill the student in on the information distributed at orientation and how the student can pick up the shirt for the first 2 rounds.

Eligibility verifiation and registration will open October 1, 2024 at Noon EST. Students must be verified, registered and have paid the fee by the deadline (Thursday, January 2, 2025 at 1:00pm EST) .
- Students registered by December 19th at Noon will be guaranteed the t-shirt size requested. The provided shirt is worn at Open House and Philanthropy Rounds.
- Students whose first term of enrollment is Winter 2025 must wait until 12/19 to finalize eligbility as 12/18 is the end of Fall 2024.
Primary Recruitment allows women on campus the chance to explore all of our Panhellenic chapters. The Panhellenic Association will have a number of opportunities prior to primary recruitment begins to allow women to meet Panhellenic members, ask questions about the community, and learn more about the recruitment process. Those interested in Primary Recruitment must verify, register and pay the fee prior to the advertised deadline and attend Panhellenic Recruitment Orientation as scheduled to receive all necessary information and to prepare for recruitment.
Primary Recruitment is comprised of four (4) sets of events:
- Open House Round allows women to visit all Panhellenic chapters and learn about our Panhellenic community as a whole.
- Philanthropy Round is focused on sharing their philanthropy and service involvement, a fundamental value of sorority life.
- Sisterhood Round includes housing tours that give a sense of what it is like to live in a sorority house. Participants will learn about finances, new member programs, and other sorority activities.
- Preference Round is a more formal and personal event where members express the meaning of sisterhood and what their sisterhood means to them
As Recruitment progresses, a mutual selection process occurs between sororities and Potential New Members. At the end of Recruitment, sororities extend invitations to join (bids).
