Author Harlan Cohen speaks about Healthy Relationships

On Monday, November 14, 2016, the best-selling author Harlan Cohen visited the University of Michigan campus. Harlan is the author of multiple books to help high school and college students adjust to life on their own. At this event hosted by Greek Life and Hillel, he discussed how to form healthy relationships and be confident in yourself in the most hilarious way possible. Harlan discussed that we all must be comfortable with ourselves physically, emotionally, and spiritually, and that the best relationship we will ever have will be with ourselves. Once we achieve this, then we can put ourselves out there, and let people that we are interested in know how we feel. He additionally mentioned that rejection is a major part of life, and we should embrace it rather than fear it. We all appreciated his insights and the audience was laughing the entire time!
