Fraternity & Sorority Life

The National Pan-Hellenic Council, Incorporated (NPHC) has an annual week/weekend/combination of days where the full council comes together to throw events that are open to campus. The purpose of these events are to expose the campus community to Black Greek culture and to spark interest in the organizations.

This year, NPHC has three events that are open to the campus. The first event, #ItsTimeToTalk:A Dialogue on Mental Health, is Wednesday, September 28,2016 at 8PM in The Union - Kuenzel Room. It is a dialogue with Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) to discuss mental health awareness in the Black community.

The second event, Midnight Madness, is Thursday September 29, 2016 at 11:59PM on the central campus Diag. It is the annual yard show where each fraternity and sorority is represented through stepping or strolling.

The final event, Open House, is Sunday, October 2, 2016 at 1PM in The Union - Anderson Room. It is for non-Greek students to come and learn more about the individual chapters represented on campus.
