Caryn attended the University of Arkansas– Fayetteville and received her BA in Psychology. After graduation, she joined the Teach For America Greater Tulsa 2017 Corps and taught 3rd and 6th grade reading for two years at Hamilton Elementary. After her corps experience, her and her husband, Taylor, moved back to Arkansas to be closer to family and welcome their first son Lewis! Caryn serves as the FSL Accountability Intern. In this role, she advises the Social Responsibility Committee (a group of students participating in self-governance in the FSL community), GARP (Greek Activities Review Panel), and supports educational efforts such as hazing education and leadership development.
