IFC: Bringing in the Next Group of Leaders

We are thrilled to introduce the fresh faces that have joined the fraternity and sorority community. Over the Fall 2023 and Winter 2024 semesters, the Interfraternity Council (IFC) chapters proudly welcomed a total of 500 new students into our fold, with 340 joining in the Fall and 160 in the Winter.

These new recruits represent the future leaders not only of the IFC community but also of the broader Fraternity and Sorority Life (FSL) community at the University of Michigan. Through a series of fraternity events, meaningful friendships, and natural connections, our 19 fraternities meticulously selected these individuals, recognizing their potential to contribute positively to our community's growth and development.

Now, as they embark on their journey within our fraternity and sorority community, it is our collective responsibility to extend a warm welcome and offer our unwavering support. These new students bring with them fresh perspectives, diverse experiences, and a shared commitment to upholding the values that define the community.

To the new students, we say welcome! Your presence enriches our fraternity and sorority community, and we are excited to witness your growth and achievements in the coming years. Embrace the opportunities, forge lasting connections, and strive to make a meaningful impact during your time at Michigan.

To our esteemed alumni, we invite you to join us in extending a heartfelt welcome to the newest members of our community. Your wisdom, guidance, and support are invaluable as we nurture the next generation of leaders within our fraternity and sorority family.

Welcome, new students, to the University of Michigan Fraternity and Sorority Life – a community where friendships flourish, leaders emerge, and memories are made that last a lifetime.
