Panhellenic Peer Educator Program

General Information:
The Panhellenic Peer Educator Program began in the fall of 2015 with a goal to increase awareness and educate their community on issues of sexual violence. Panhellenic women from across chapters come together to learn about sexual violence prevention, campus resources, share their experiences with sexual violence, and understand ways to support their Panhellenic sisters.

Peer Educators serve as confidential peer resources within their respective chapters, creating a space for members to ask questions, seek support, and learn about available sexual violence survivor and prevention resources on campus. In addition to their work within their chapters, PPE-SVEE hosts programs and initiatives that encourage open conversations about sexual violence. Notable programs include the Red Flag Campaign, which invites students to recognize and discuss warning signs in romantic relationships, and the Speak Out Event, a confidential space for PPE-SVEE members to share personal experiences around sexual violence and provide support to one another.

Through education, advocacy, and peer connection, PPE-SVEE works to encourage people to speak up about sexual violence, increase awareness of prevention and support resources, and empower members of the Panhellenic and broader FSL community to look out for one another. At its core, PPE-SVEE is committed to creating a community where conversations about sexual violence can happen openly, respectfully, and without judgment. Through education, peer support, and prevention efforts, the program works to reduce the occurrence of sexual violence within the FSL community and beyond.
