IFC: Strengthening Ties, Chapters Join Forces for Community Cleanup

In the spirit of fostering stronger ties with the Ann Arbor community and demonstrating the commitment to civic responsibility, the 2023 Interfraternity Council (IFC) Executive Board recently spearheaded a remarkable initiative – a post-game cleanup after the Purdue vs. Michigan football showdown. This event not only showcased the unity within the fraternity community but also emphasized the importance of actively contributing to the well-being of the neighborhoods that have been a home away from home.

Building Trust Through Action

The cleanup wasn't just about picking up trash; it was a tangible display of the fraternity values in action. As proud alumni, you understand the significance of not only nurturing the bonds within the Fraternity and Sorority Life (FSL) community but also extending a hand to the Ann Arbor community that graciously hosts them.

A Collective Effort for a Cleaner Future

Fraternities came together to clean the streets and surrounding areas where students reside. By addressing the aftermath of the football game, they aimed to create a positive impact on their immediate surroundings. This collective effort not only beautified the neighborhoods but also set a precedent for responsible community engagement.
