Opportunites for Joining a Panhellenic Sorority after Primary Recruitment

In Winter 2026 there are a number of opportunities to join the Panhellenic sorority community after Primary Recruitment concludes.  All organizations eligible will have access to COB Interest List below.

Continous Open Bidding (COB)

If a chapter still has spots available in their chapter after bid day, they may opt to participate in continuous open bidding (COB). This is a more informal style of recruitment since only some chapters can/will participate. Some chapters may coffee chat PNMs, while some host events for PNMs to come to, it depends on chapter preference.  Not all chapters COB, and no one knows which ones can until bid day.  Even if some chapters have in the past, that does not mean that they will this year!

This year, all NPC eligible chapters will have the week following bid day to COB. Starting January 25th, all chapters except Kappa Alpha Theta and Delta Phi Epsilon, will stop their COB efforts, called a moratorium, in order to promote the growth of these chapters. Phi Sigma Rho, who as a seperate recruitment process, will begin recruitment after Primary Recruitment Bid Day.
